THE PLAYER’S FIELD NOTES

Azeroth Survivors Classes

Compare the nine classes and starting spells shown in the original V0.90.0 menu, then follow class-specific build, talent and equipment guides.

All nine class menus directly inspected in original V0.90.0 · Playstyles below paraphrase menu descriptions, not measured class performance.

The original V0.90.0 menu offers Warrior, Paladin, Hunter, Rogue, Priest, Shaman, Mage, Warlock and Druid. Each has a different starting spell and a short playstyle description. All nine class buttons could be selected on the inspected fresh account; that does not make their later zones or equipment unlocked.

Nine classes and their starting spells

Use this as a starting identity comparison. It does not rank clear speed, survivability at equal investment, or endgame strength.

Class choice is separate from later access

Select a class on the main screen; its starting spell, spell pool and zone list change. The inspected fresh account could select all nine, while each showed one of nine zones open. The main menu says defeating Edwin VanCleef in Elwynn opens Duskwood.

Armory’s Character page handles race and appearance. Available race options depend on the class, so this guide does not supply an unverified full race/class combination chart. The original adjusts racial effects; familiar WoW names are not enough to assume their original effects.

Give each class its own progression context

The original Armory states that gear and appearance are kept per class. Recordings also describe class-specific talent progress and zone unlocks. Switching to another class is therefore different from returning to the same developed character.

The talent guide explains point earning and the inspected allocation rules. The equipment guide separates permanent class pieces from jewellery that resets with a run.

Choose an interaction before chasing a ranking

A menu identity helps you decide what to try; it is not evidence that the class is stronger. For a supported next step, compare the Holy Shield Paladin and Marksman Hunter recordings, keeping their different talent and gear investment in view.

There is no class-strength ranking on this page. The supplied reports use different builds and conditions, so their large damage numbers cannot be compared as equal-account results.
